Members' Pages needs a new name.

Some people have been getting confused about the Members' Pages in the Navigation bar and members' Profile Pages.Any suggestions. I thought about renaming it Members' Contributions but could be equally confusing. All suggestions welcome. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I quite like "The sandpit"...it's reminds me of a creative Art Therapy technique where you use a tray of sand and 'build' things in it to express yourself. But the association is not a common one and maybe that will not help to make it clearer.How about 'The Showroom', 'Show and Tell', 'The Gallery" or something else obviously describing what is there. Do you find this valuable? |

Are you going to transfer our pages(yours, mine and John's that are already made) into The Sandpit, or just leave them there in a separate section as the 'Founders Pages' or something?

The main drawback to it is that Americans call these sandboxes. This would put off our British and Australian members, who might not wish to play among kitty poohs.

I see the current pages have been transferred to The Sandpit.John, I'm confused. Do you mean that Americans use the term sand pit to refer to a kitty-litter tray(which may contain commercial kitty litter or sand, but used for the same purpose) and not for a children's play area with sand? Or is it something else? Do you find this valuable? |

If you remane a page, all sub-pages are automatically moved to the new page name.

No, Lesley, just the reverse. I meant they call a sandpit a sandbox. I once had to assure my Brit-speaking mother that my American-speaking daughter was not playing among cat turds.

Be carefull renaming pages. It will break all hyperlinks TO that page and sub-pages and you'll need to do them all again. Hyperlinks FROM that page stay intact.Changing the name of the page chaanges the URL. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Wetpaint do warn you and a little box pops up with a list of all hyperlinks that will break.
